This is a family website about Jordan Simone’s wrestling, run by his dad, Jeff Simone. We collect only what we need to run the site and the shop. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run ads, and we don’t send marketing email.
What we collect and why
- Shop orders. Your name, email, phone number, and shipping address (no address for local pickup). We use them to fill your order, send your receipt, and reach you about shipping or pickup.
- Payments. Stripe handles card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. We never see it or store it.
- Weight requests for duals. The parent’s name, email, and phone, plus the wrestler’s name and grade. We use them only to reply about the open spot. They’re never shown on the site, and we delete them automatically after one year.
- Blog comments. Your name, your email (never shown), and your comment. Every comment waits for our approval before it appears.
- Email you send us. Whatever you choose to include.
Who else handles it
We use a few services to run the site. Each one handles your information only to do its job for us:
- Kinsta hosts the website and stores orders, requests, and comments.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers the site’s emails, like receipts and order updates.
- Cloudflare runs our domain and forwards email sent to our shop address.
- Google Fonts supplies the site’s fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
- YouTube plays some of our videos. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com).
Cookies
The shop uses cookies to remember what’s in your cart. Stripe uses cookies at checkout to help stop fraud. YouTube may set cookies if you play a video. We don’t use advertising cookies or ad trackers. If that ever changes, we’ll update this page first.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as we need them for our records and taxes.
- Weight requests: deleted automatically after one year.
- Comments: until they’re removed.
Kids
This site is about a young athlete, but it’s meant for parents and other adults. Kids shouldn’t send us personal information. A parent can reach out for them.
Your choices
Email us to see, fix, or delete the information we have about you. We’ll take care of it, except for order details we need to keep for our records.
